    Yeah...did Krause draft Jordan?

Anyway, Krause isnt even their general manager, John Paxson is.

Not to mention they have bobby jackson comeing off the bench. They also had a pretty solid draft and picked up some nice big men. The southwest division is not avery nice place to live right now.
Your mission if you choose to except it. Win one game in your division.

    New Orleans Hornets

Funny... ESPN has a big picture of Marcus Fizer on their front page that says "Chicago's intriguing offseason haul includes young riser J.R. Smith." They apparently have no idea who J.R. Smith is ... they just went by the mistake description found on the image in Getty Images.

HAHA I guess that is what happens when you come straight out of high school and work in promiscuity for your first real season in the NBA.

Additionally, I think JR Smith is the perfect gunner to come off the bench for Chicago. This Bulls team is extremely dangerous-- it plays good defense and will probably be top 3 with Ben Wallace, and it has a combo of Hinrich/Gordon/Duhon/Smith/Deng and even Nocioni at times who can play out on the perimeter.

This will be a very entertaining team to watch next year.

    I assume you mean obscurity.

I don't know if J.R. Smith will do any better in Chicago than NO/OK. Even though he's mellowed out a little, Scott Skiles is much more of an intensive taskmaster than Byron Scott. If Chicago's other backcourt players produce and he doesn't, Smith will find himself locked in the doghouse.

Personally, if it keeps players with DA's or Swift's mentality off the Rockets, I'm for it. Anderson just wanted to collect a paycheck. Swift didn't have the heart or brains to take a starting spot from Juwan Howard. If CD can't see these players before they get here, maybe making it unattractive is the answer.

hah...too true. All of these guys that we signed for under market value because they liked Houston...well, they sucked.

Matt Maloney(I think signed a small deal first, only to be extended for a ridiculous period of time later)
    Shandon Anderson
    Maurice Taylor
    Derek Anderson
    Stromile Swift

Yeah, Krause is the one who made the terrible Chandler for Brand trade.

Paxson took over for Krause 3 years ago right around the Jay Williams motorcycle accident, his first draft pick was Hinrich, and Chandler was the last holdover from the Krause regime.

Anyways, despite the deficiency in low-post scoring, the frontcourt is still a upgrade since they are replacing Chandler, Othella Harrington, and Darius Songalia with Wallace, Brown, and Tyrus Thomas. They are a deep team now, and Nocioni can play at PF as well.

    PG - Hinrich, Duhon
SG - Gordon, Thabo Sefolosha, JR Smith
    SF - Nocioni, Deng
PF - PJ Brown, Tyrus Thomas
C - Ben Wallace, Malik Allen, Sweetney
