http://c.espnradio.com/audio/897589/thunderingherd_2012-03-14-141429.48.mp3 Starts around 35:00 mins. Ric Bucher on ESPN's The Herd says Pau is pushing for a trade to Chicago because he doesn't want to go to Houston or Minnesota. Rose reminds him of young Kobe.
Bucher couldn't make up his mind if it slapped him in the face. He just wants to stir up the pot a little. If this does happen to be true, perhaps we can get Asik or Noah out of Chicago.
I don't think it's so much not wanting to come to Houston---although day-visitors here tend not to see the nicer parts (I think there are two, LOL)---but he doesn't want to have everything dumped on his shoulders. But it's part of the same old deal. Play with Derrick Rose, win titles, Bulls? Yay! Play with, er, uh, Courtney Lee and maybe get the 4th seed? Ummm....
Wait...did Pau say this or someone else? I'm done listening to these insiders speaking about what they heard. If it didn't come from the players mouth...it's hearsay. Too many times, a beat writer or "insider" says something that’s a total rumor and its get out to the masses and labeled as truth and the player NEVER said one word. Damn I wish the media was regulated.
Something to think about guys: The only way to get this selfish player is by giving up probably the only player in the NBA who wants to be in Houston. Luis Scola
I'm still trying to figure out why Houston is so big on Gasol. My only guess is that they think he will be a good guy for DMo to work with.
But...but...his hair is so blonde and well-combed. And his teeth are white and big. He MUST be trustworthy! Right?
