    We have a 14 or so million dollar expiring contract in Yao. No one is biting now because of the demand for a protected 1st rounder. I'd be willing to throw them a young player along with a second rounder, but not 1st.

    Link? Having trouble understanding how Gerald Wallace could be so cheap and not yet have takers. Are we talking about a different Gerald Wallace than the one I'm thinking of?

    Why would we want the CHI 1st rnd pick if they're makeing the playoffs?


    Might as well get Wallace, I doubt Adelman will be back next season.
    T-Will, C-Lee and G-Wall could be exciting to watch.

    We traded our 2012 pick, so I don't believe we're allowed to trade our 2011 pick unless we acquire another one unconditionally for this year. That's why we would try to acquire Chicago's pick.

    Why? Wallace gives the Mavs nothing that Shawn Marion doesn't already give them. Sure, Wallace is a few years younger. But adding Wallace will not make that Mavs team appreciably better.
