First of I don't like Donald Trump, I didn't vote for him and I won't vote for him. I have said he is the worst President in memory and is a pathological liar to such an extent that he has lowered the bar for what is expected from a President.

Having said that, this thread is about Hill and what she said and did. What she said in the public sphere as a public figure will get you fired and is extremely unprofessional. She deserves to lose her job.

As far as getting rid of Trump, maybe not b**** and complain about the Democratic candidate and actually show up to vote to prevent a marginal extremist candidate from getting elected? Want Trump marginalized? Vote out Republicans at the midterm elections coming up. Further there already are government investigations into Trump and a number of powerful people that would love nothing better than to have his unprofessional, corrupt butt out of office.

This idea that Trump is worse, so Hill is fine logic is flawed. As stated there is already far more powerful groups investigating Trump. If Hill wants to tweet to the public that Trump is a white supremacist she should expect to get fired.

Lots of people have been rightfully outraged by the verbal diarrhea that has come out of Donald Trump's mouth.

Of course supporters of the President are going to be outraged when a public figure calls the President a white supremacist. If she didn't expect outrage she is naive. Further no one should be shocked that a lot of people want her fired.

It seem as though the rule is that any minority that dares confront a white person on their racist behavior, for example saying that Nazis and the Klan are fine people, is themselves a racist. It's so Trump.

Obama and Trump are not even on the same plane when it comes to intellectual ability or knowledge. People can be critical of Obama's policies or Judgment. However no one can question is intelligence or knowledge.

Hill, a Detroit native, wrote of her hatred of Boston: "Admittedly, to some degree it was about race. Detroit is 80 percent African-American, and as my colleague J.A. Adande stated in a fantastic piece on the Celtics earlier this season, the mostly white Celtics teams of the past had a tough time being accepted by black audiences. Boston was viewed by African-Americans as a racially intolerant city."

Boston was a racially intolerant city and some would say still is.

Hill may very well be racist, I honestly don't know and really don't care. However what she said about Trump isn't racist and what she said in that quote isn't especially racist either.

You're going to call Jemele Hill racist for her tweet? Fine.

When are you going to call Donald Trump racist for his comments regarding virtually every minority group?

Or are you going to take Bobbys approach and say he's not a real racist he was a Hillary-supporting Democrat for 8 years before, he's only pandering to racists loll. (As if that is any better btw)

How many excuses are you Trump lovers going to give this guy? Oh, he's not a politician he's new to this give him some time. Excusing his many inappropriate comments. Yet someone commented earlier that Jemele Hill should have known better as a professional journalist than to make that tweet. Hilarious the excuses people give this idiot lol.

She admits the reason she hates a city is in part because of their race. Isn't that the definition of racism?

ESPN’s Jemele Hill wrote that, "rooting for the Celtics is like saying Hitler was a victim."

If it is not racist, then it is at least somewhat bigoted.

Hill made a bad strategic move even if what she's saying is true. She probably is very mildly racist/hostile towards white people, as is most of black population because of their history, which is completely fine and understandable. But I didn't really notice any racism in her tweets.

It was not a bad strategic move at all, it's raised her profile a ton and will help her career.
