    Sure, they asked him for a hot take, but the hot take was that he was ruining sports.

    The honest take came after that when he said it was "absolutely" a travel and that the NBA needed to address it. There's a lot of salt coming from Royce Young because of the (correct) narrative that this season validates the notion that Westbrook's MVP case was garbage and that Harden was the real MVP last year.

    Whatever. Remember how people used to complain that Harden traveled on every Eurostep? Now that other stars are doing it no one's talking anymore. Once other players see the effectiveness of Harden's step back they'll emulate it, popularize it, and people will shut up because they know their own stars are benefiting from the move too.

    As long as the refs don't call it, and they don't, it's all good.

    So you want reporters to just make **** up and not listen to what players actually say? Wtf is this a conspiracy?

    Hopefully they'd be able to logically come to a conclusion based on facts.

    Allow me to demonstrate:

    1. Oladipo in OKC with Westbrook was barely a starter level player;
    2. Oladipo was traded to Indiana;
    3. Oladipo is now an All-Star level player.

    Based on the above, it appears that Westbrook's presence affected Oladipo's play. I would hope that reporters don't base their reports solely on quotes.

    Do you not remember when Mark Cuban and his Dallas Mavericks cried and complained to the league about Yao Ming’s “illegal screens”???? The national media ate it up so much that the next game and rest of the series (which we ended up loosing) the refs would consistently call moving screens on Yao.

    You are asking journalists to make up assumptions and present them as fact. You are literally asking them to create fake news.

    This is a sad world we live in.

    What assumption is there when basically every single player who joins Westbrook sees their production numbers take a dive, then once leaving, see their production numbers elevate.

    System, fit. Look at what happened to Kyle Lowry once he stopped backing up Mike Conley. You gonna say that Conley is a cancer?

    This is conspiracy type **** these guys are trying to make up. Next thing they’ll say that the Illuminati is controlling the three pointers

    Don't see where you're going with that.

    You're cherry picking players. I'm using a large poole for my analysis. The sheer amount of players who were good, and then stalled or regressed once joining Westbrook, only to have their games go back to average or elevate & exceed their production numbers once leaving Westbrook is quite staggering. Coaches have changed, systems have changed, Westbrook has remained along with the correlation.

    The play that everyone is talking about right now is not a travel...

    Whoever "sent that to him" has been following my work for some time.

    He did a write up last year trying to discredit the uncontested rebounds and lack of shot contests which I started pushing in December 2016.

    http://dailythunder.com/russell-westbrook-triple-doubles-and-stat-padding-accusations/

    He's Windhorst to LeBron status, the guy that has the inside track to the player, and that's why he got to stick around and why he sticks his neck out for Westbrook.

    If you put both hands on the ball and then take 3 steps, it is technically a travel. If you don’t think that happened, fine.

    Yes that is a clear cut travel. But that’s not what James did or has ever done on a step back.

    These clowns needs to stfu. Miller during the game, said, " I might've pushed off but at least I didn't travel when shooting the three". (paraphrase)

    Embid was mimicking Hardens move the other day, telling the fans, that's a travel.

    They will continue spew that bullshit and watch the league act accordingly.
