Why isn't he traded to a contending team? Poor guy is wasting his talent on this team. He could be contributing for a ring
Also, is he isn't hurt. Articles were circulating that last year that he was getting a lot of interest before he injured himself. Now, he is playing even better and has 1 less year on his contract.
I just hold my breath every game he plays and hope they find a deal before he tweaks something. They’re playing with fire.
He's only appealing to contenders and if you look at contending rosters, he has a tough deal to salary match. I wish he could get to MIL. I hope get gets a championship and that extra year.
I can live with him finishing his contract here as a true rocket legend. He is a good influence. He doesnt take away shots from the kids and not forcing the issue by chasing his numbers and is always consciously running the plays. A coaches dream for any young team. I hope his presence can convince some vet FA to come over.
Clearly. If the reporting was right, multiple teams made good FRP offers and we walked, looking for future firsts instead of one for this coming draft. As I understand it, the FO didn't think this draft was deep enough to see value in a late FRP, didn't see it as a valuable trade commodity, and didn't see how they'd be able to incorporate said pick onto a team stacked with young pieces and adding two more already this coming draft. My guess is we see him moved either as part of a package to move the Brooklyn pick down (along with Wood) or separately for a 2023 FRP which we try to package with the Milwaukee pick in a trade.
