Gordon is a rich man's Marcus Thornton Hell, he's billionaire Les Alexander's Marcus Thornton ... maybe even Steve Ballmer or Paul Allen's Marcus Thornton....or Bill Gates.
He was one of the main pieces in getting Chris Paul to the Lakers, no? And Nene would have come to us.
Sure there a chance. But how much of one? We don't like each other. If we're offering the same value for Bogut as a team in the East, Cuban isn't trading him here. So we'll have to pay mire to get him. Does Morey overpay? No. He looks for deals he can make and underpay.
You weren't trying to be disrespectful, but it sounded disrespectful when I read your post aloud. A medium wage Ray Allen A blue collar Allen Houston Put some respek on Eric Gordon's name.
Was attempting to play on "Thornton is a poor man's Eric Gordon" but in reverse. I'm sure some fan, some where is out there is calling Thornton that now....and a plethora of other "pure shooters" who try to drive in this league.
I see what you were doing, hp. I just didn't like how it sounded when it left my lips. Thornton and Gordon shouldn't be in the same sentence.. even in jest
Eric Gordon - the second coming of Harden before he went PG Prolly should not be in the same line but whatever.....
Always loved EG games since he was with the Clippers. He reminded me of David Wesley. Just a much more polish offensive player, and almost as good defensively. As much as MDA is getting credit for Houston's hot start, I doubt Houston would be this good without EG. He's a true 2nd star player.
Gordon, Harden, Anderson, and Ariza have combined to hit more threes (324) than any other team in the NBA (next closest: GSW with 322, CLE with 319). They're hitting them at a 39.6% clip (which would rank 3rd in the NBA).
right now EG is playing like the 2nd star playmaker the Rox been looking for as of RIGHT NOW in my opinion...no reason he can't have the star label if he keeps playing like this all season...sure he may have a drop off but jeez so what if he does..EG ballin
