He's slumping at the right time. Ya'll will be so happy come playoff time. EG will be actin a fool like a young hero Peja or Ray Allen. Be ready ya'll. Because I am. Patience is the key, my friends. Stay thirsty, but never stay hungry. The time will come.
people were spoiled by his play earlier in the year and it seems to set a pretty high bar for alot of people around here that havent followed him before he came here. safe to say he's more than exceeded the number of games this year most of us expected to see. as long as he is healthy come playoff time is what im more concerned about because he's more than capable of scoring in bunches on any given night and a huge part of an actual team identity this year
I dont think it matters what his percentage is. He's got the green light to keep shooting it and defenders know that he's no Brewer - you leave him wide open, more often than not, he's going to score. But whether he scores or not, he's got opposing teams' attention which means it opens up Harden to make more plays.
Just want to point out that I was scrutinized pretty good for my post in a Gordon thread earlier this year. He has been really not great recently, but if he gets out of this slump before the playoffs then that's all that matters.
Come on---it's a plan. EG gets cold late in the season, then goes off in the playoffs. We outshoot GSW and SAS, then LaBron & co. and take the title. It's all a plan.
yeah, I was just talking to Eric about that. EG needs to get that up to 38%. EG is living off the rep from Nov & Dec. Oct: 31.8%, Jan: 29.9%, Feb: 34.3%, March: 34.3% 40% in NOV and 45.7% in DEC.
and people say Harden has great supporting cast...smh. Thank god for Lou, or else we would've been in big trouble by now
That's fine, though, almost every shooter is like that. There's a lot of variance with shooting long range shots, but we have (or at least had) so many good shooters that at least a couple people are going to be on almost every night. ... Problem is that Gordon and Ariza have been consistently struggling, so our shooter count is significantly lower, which means the odds of us having a couple hot shooters on any given night is significantly lower. At least now we have Lou to help balance things out, though.
With what Gordon did today and hitting those threes to start the fourth, he saved us from losing, imo
He played much better tonight . The 3 stroke is streaky and that's OK . But tonight he took it to the rack some and played pretty decent D.
