Gordan is a perfect fit for us off the bench, but I absolutely HATE how he cries about a foul almost EVERY SINGLE TIME he has the ball. I do see a fair number of plays where he seems to have gotten fouled and doesn't get the call, but instead of running back on D right away he'll wait a step or two to complain and then run back. If you guys look for it, you'll see how it happens legitimately all the time. I legitimately haven't seen someone cry about calls as much and as consistently as he does in my life.
Stackhouse averaged 30 for a season playing WITH Grant Hill iirc. I believe that was Hill's last healthy season.
In PPG, never. So he never won a scoring title, but he scored the most points overall in the 2000-2001 season. The Pistons did not make the playoffs that year(Stack was on the Pistons at that time). I would like to add that Gordon is a better offensive player off the bench than Stackhouse was. Both kept the scoreboard moving, but it moves faster with Gordon. Stackhouse was in his twilight years when he was a bench player. Gordon seems to be hovering over his prime ATM.
If by Grant Hill you mean Corliss Williamson, then yes, you are correct. He averaged 23.6 with Hill, but Hill was the primary scoring option.
This thread makes me feel old, since I still think of Stackhouse being called "the Next Jordan" when he came out of UNC. Then again, Harold Miner was "Baby Jordan" so being compared to MJ was not exactly unique...
