His knee might have been hurting, shots come and go, but I think EG is always thinking I'm going to be traded everyday. Tuck has been frequently traded, he might be able to help EG out.
It seemed like Gordon was in a funk his entire time in New Orleans because he wanted to sign with the Suns. I am not crazy about his demenour, or streaky outside shooting this season, but he needs to play well for this team to be a contender.
Gordon hurt his knee against the Lakers, was questionable for the game. That's why he wasn't attacking at all. In today's NBA, we can't have two starters (Paul and Gordon) combining for 2 rebounds though. Luckily we (and by 'we' I mean Harden) played well enough to overcome that and Green was on fire. 6 of our next 8 games (rest of this month) are at home and the competition is about average. Morey needs to get us some help at the 3/4. Yes there might be a slightly better deal later, but in the meantime the oldest team in the NBA is overplaying all its core players. Feels like Mr Analytics is relying a little too much on Lady Luck right now. We have Harden once again carrying a team to relevance, except this time he's also carrying a $35m teammate.
I feel like a fool rejecting the idea of including him in the package for jimmy. Ole, if I could turn back the hands of time...jimmy James and cp3 was right there for the taking
I vaguely remember reading a post on here where someone cited an article or interview that said Eric Gordon signed here because Ryan ANDERSON did. Or vice versa. Point being I wonder if those two were close and with ryno’s collapse and subsequent trade Gordon fell apart. His drop off and Corey Brewer like shooting just doesn’t make sense from a physical or skills standpoint. So psychological?
I doubt that. Harden and Ariza called EG first which was a big factor according to EG's interview, Ryan made a push after signing with Rockets. I mean I didn't even see many interactions between EG and RA on the bench or something. RA's best friend was Beverley in his Rockets time. On the psychological side, it's just very logical to guess that rumors of being on the trade block could affect one player's performance on the court. If he realizes Morey is determined to make some big moves this season, then he should be worried cuz he's the most movable and valuable asset on this team.
We are all armchair GM's. The Rockets management makes independent decisions. Fan input has nothing to do with them. Minny didn't want EG or even 4 1st rounders. Take it easy.

Melo’s garbage was splattered all over this team. The lack of commitment, the selfish attitude, uncoachable. Hopefully by February, it wears off. It was a mistake. When he came here, we had to slow down the game completely so melo can catch up. We’re paying the price on pace... while the entire league sped up.
