Is this some sarcastically made thread? Off course the German assasin was better. Watched him and Kemp tear it up with Sonics for years before we got Barkley to finally get passed them.

1996 Sonics playoff sweep video? Ugh. Dislike.

They are not really similar players though. Schrempf was much more versatile. He could shoot, handle the ball, drive, pass, rebound, defend.

Even on his best days, Anderson is pretty much a shooting specialist who can grab a few rebounds. Not a great comparison.

The most Detlef was paid in any year was 5 million. You could have 4 Detlef Schrempf's for 1 Ryan Anderson. I would go with the Detlef Schrempf's

That guy was a hell of a player and played his size. There’s really no comparison.

That damn illegal defense was our kryptonite back then. Had to blow up the core to beat them.

Detlef Schrempf would be worth $20 million per season in today's NBA easy.

A chihuahua is closer to a German Shepherd than a Turkey.

Some wrote that Ryno was close to Detlef

That's like saying a runny nose is close to the Ebola virus

Thinly veiled "The league was much better during the '90s" thread.

Don't knock it if it's true. Hand Checks, man defense, Michael Jordan, Post play, and Jeff Van Gundy holding onto Alonzo Mourning for dear life.

    It's fans who know basketball
vs fans who randomly think of older players who were white because Ryan Anderson is white

You can't compare white players to Europeans. They bring different things to the table.
