What prior voting standards are you talking about? The Curry pick over Harden? I picked Harden that year, but most advanced stats favored Curry and his team was eight games better by season's end. And his raw stats were deflated because he only had to play 32 minutes per game. The biggest argument against Curry was the strength of his supporting cast, but that doesn't apply in this year's race. Harden and Westbrook have similar talent around them.

No, I'm not denying Westbrook is having an amazing season. He is. Just don't think it's any more or less than Harden's. They're pretty much even.
