I'm saying he doesn't have unlimited length...He's shorter than Aldridge so it's been difficult to challenge his jumpers. TJ has enough length for most 4's, especially with his athleticism.

I'm curious, has there been any talk of Julius Randle being an undersized Power Forward like Jones gets?

Jones is not undersized at all for the 4 spot IMO. He's actually taller than Kevin Love without shoes and longer wingspan ect.

    Predraft Measurements
    Player A
Height w/o Shoes Height w/shoes Weight Wingspan Standing Reach
    6' 7.75" 6' 9.5" 255 6' 11.25" 8' 10"
    Player B
Height w/o Shoes Height w/shoes Weight Wingspan Standing Reach
    6' 8.25" 6' 9.5" 252 7' 2.25" 8' 11"

One of those players is Terrence Jones who is always called undersized. The other is Kevin Love who is never considered undersized and is everybody's dream PF. You can figure out who is who if you want but it doesn't matter. The point is perception can be a b**** for those misinformed.

So the "emergence" of an undersized tweener PF/SF that plays no defense and isn't a very good shooter is the silver lining? Can we get a better silver lining?

He doesn't play like it, Jones does.

*So I guess Kevin Love is a undersized tweener too. And so is Julius Randle. And Blake Griffin.

Love's defense is just as bad or worse. At least Jones blocks shots above the rim. You know like a power player might do.

Oh I get it. It's because Love is slow and can't move laterally. So he has to play inside unlike Jones who can stay with perimeter players when he gets switched on to them. Gotcha. But they are the same height and weight with Jones having a longer wingspan.

That's true, but Love is an infinitely better scorer and a better rebounder, you are right, neither are great at defense even though Jones will occasionally get a flashy block or two that fools some people into thinking he's worth a damn on defense. Then again, if you look at DRAPM Jones' -1.45 makes Love's 1.32 look awesome.

And we have an elite C who can guard those guys when he needs to. It's a wash.

If our elite C guards those PF's who guards the C? Certainly you don't think Jones could.

Those points have nothing to with the question of being undersized. Kevin Love is a much better player. That is not debatable. The point is some people start with an agenda and perpetuate it. Then when they are proven wrong they change the subject. Like you just did. They are the same size. Bottom line.

Please tell what C is worth a damn on offense on the teams that have an elite PF?

They don't have to be worth a damn, if they are guarded by Jones, they'll look dominant. Robin Lopez would look like Dwight Howard.

Lopez with Aldridge? No. Splitter with Duncan? No. Jordan with Griffin? No. Perkins with Ibaka? No. Asik with Davis? Nope..we've seen that first hand. Next!
