? They played Keo as the 3rd safety a lot. They'd bump Quin down in certain packages and put Keo back there with Manning.
I'd be all over this. Deep draft for safeties no? So draft a young guy, and have him learn under Manning and Reed?...sounds awesome.
Being first on his list of destinations os not good. I do think his days in Baltimore are over, somehow San Fran will get him to replace Goldson.
If it seemed to you that Manning didn't play a lot...... that's a good thing. You don't want to see him a lot on TV lol.
Ed Reed's presence alone will help us. Theres no way we get torched on as many deep balls thrown by elite quarterbacks.
That's not true at all. Players forego meetings with other teams all the time. Mario did it just last year....Buffalo was his first and only visit. He's not interested.in flying all over the country to meet teams. He wants a deal done quickly.
This. If the Texans want him, they will have him. Andy Reid had a pit stop in KC on the way to Arizona...
I'll [raise Rick Smith when we make the Superbowl. Matt Hasselbeck went to a Superbowl. So did Sexy Rexy. Jaguars got there in their second season in existence. Panthers got there in their first decade. Hell, even the Sanchize took his team to back to back AFC championship games. I don't think one measly Superbowl appearance as the lasting legacy of the Schaub-Johnson-Foster era is too much to ask for.
Carolina played their Superbowl against the patriots here in Houston. It was a very memorable game (for me at least). It was in 04.
C'mon, man. Carolina was in the SB against New England when it was in Houston when Janet Jackson's titty popped out.
Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider The Texans have been involved and in on Ed Reed since the start of free agency, not sudden development, per sources Texans have made an extremely strong bid to woo Ed Reed. Whether a quick deal happens remains unclear, but they are off to a strong start Sources emphasize that the 49ers are actually a legit contender for Ed Reed should the Texans visit not lead to a fast deal. The Indianapolis Colts, coached by Chuck Pagano, could emerge as a suitor for Reed, but it will depend on price and his other opportunities
Rick is obviously on a mission for Reed. I bet he doesn't leave Houston without a deal in place. I'm glad we know Smith had a plan this FA period after all. Unlike some other's speculation around here.
