how was him a let down?, even with a knee injury, he was +90 for a series the sixers lost by 19 points in the 7 game combined.
embiid played 237.23 mins out of 336 posible minutes and he was +90 on those minutes. The sixers where a negative without him.
Last game he was +10 in 45:11 mins, the team was -12 in 2:48 mins....
You cant win if your sub is awful and your team cant even play decently in the small stretch you take to rest.
I agree he didnt shoot well and didnt look dominant, but his impact on the game was massive. If he gets in better shape ( a big if) , he will a lot better this year.

I can agree with this, a guy like him is obviously going to have impact even by just being out there, and it's not all about shooting, but for a center with his talent he has to shoot better, 36% from the field is just terrible, If Harden would've shoot 36% against the Warriors he would've been roasted just because of that.

yeah but the difference with harden is that he takes a lot more shots and when he is off the ball he dosent help. If he was hitting only 36% the rockets will get destroyed, but as you can see, its not like that for the sixers, because of everything else that embid brings to the table.
This is not a excuse for embid, 36% is low, no matter how you look at it, but its not his only way on impacting the game, while it is for Harden

Embiid had some sort flu bug during the series. Had a high fever prior to game 5 I believe and still had to play If he had a decent back up Center. Could have rested and played better
    They almost beat the Raptors
Too bad Butler and others might leave , they are a force
76ers are still going to be tough with Embiid
