Superficially googled playoff history, but I don't think a 1 seed has ever been swept by an 8 seed before... Fact checkers, am I wrong?
Only two teams have ever won from 8th seed, both times won 3-2 I think. Deke's nuggets over the Sonics and the 1999 Knicks. No 8th seed has ever won a 7 game series.
I'm hoping that Boston loses in embarrassing fashion in the 1st round....would make Houston that much more appealing to Gordon Hayward
GS in 07 against Dallas and Memphis in 2011 against the Spurs....there was also Philly against Chicago in 2012
Yep...but you know the Floppers are going to lose so the Jazz will make the second round...i hate the Clippers.
Olynyk has been terrible. Is Amir Johnson that soft that he can't even get burn over Zeller and Olynyk?
i have to stop watching the bulls. apparently it's the only choice to make them lose. i watched the end of tor/mil and boston cut an 8 point halftime deficit to 1. that game ends, i turn on chi/bos and chicago proceeds to make their next 7 shots, including a lopez baseline 20 footer, a wade baseline 18 footer, a butler 18 footer, a 3, and a wade 3 to beat the shotclock after a horrible possession. i think an alley-oop was the only shot within 18 feet of those 7 shots and even on that one butler made a great catch and was fouled. throw in mcw banking in a long jumper and that whole 3rd quarter was bad to mediocre outside shooters making long jumpers with maybe 4 or 5 free throws thrown in. to people who have seen them lose a game, what do they do in those games?
I hate them too...team full of cry babies if Utah wins tonight then it's over CP3 better get a ton of heat if the Clips disappoint yet again...the media treats him like a 3x champ when he's never even been to a conference finals
no kidding. panicking like crazy on every possession. also, jae crowder and demarre carroll seem like the same player and both seem to be scrappy role players who perfectly epitomize their teams lack of overall superstar talent (carroll in atl and tor) to get over the hump also, i'm not watching the 4th to see what happens.
i thought philly beat chicago 4-1 after rose got injured but apparently it was 4-2. in 3 of the last 4 games neither team broke 80! wow.
