    I don't think he did either. I think Hawks are just feeling a bit cocky with their recent success. They may feel a big jaded giving him that ridiculous contract but at least they got out of it with the Nets GM being so moronic.

    the hawks having trouble closing out a game against the freaking nets

    It probably has more to do with the wishy-washyness of the fan base. Many people around the league don't speak too highly of the fans in Atlanta. I still remember after Atlanta defeated the Rockets and Josh was relentlessly boo'd, they asked Josh what he thought about it. He basically said how terrible Atlanta fans were. The next day all the sports programs unanimously agreed with him.
