Heat have a high chance to advance to the Conf Finals playing either the Pacers or Raptors. If only Bosh was playing..they could truly challenge the Cavs.

Won't be so bad if they can retain their FA's:

Batum, Marvin Williams, Al, Lee and Lin....

    Oh god

Any chance this blowout breaks the record for our disastrous game 7 vs the Mavs in 2005?

Why do all big games usually result in a disappointment?

Dragic still has it. Walker defending certainly help.

I wouldn't put too much stock in Dragic's good game today when this is the softest defense on him all series.

I think he turned a corner in the 2nd half of Game 6. Looked like he was completely lacking confidence, hit rock bottom, and found it again. We'll see going forward, but I'd expect more good games than stinkers.

Dwayne Wade's physicality and speed is what true basketball should be about.

    Damn,

All the fake Hornets fans are not happy!

Dragic vs Lowry match up?? Battle of the 2 former Rockets PGs who back then battled it out for starting spot?

Probably Dragic vs. Ty Lawson, battle of the one who left and the one who took a wrong turn.

Good season for Charlotte, now need to build on it.

'09-'10: 44-38 with Larry Brown, lost in the first round(0-4 Orlando) and went 34-48 the next season.

'13-'14: 43-39 with Clifford, lost in the first round(0-4 Miami) and went 33-49 the next season.

'15-'16: 48-34 with Clifford, lost in the first round(3-4 Miami) and ....?

They do have free agent decision to make.

Al Jefferson, Nic Batum, Marvin Williams, Courtney Lee & Tyler Hansbrough. Lin has a player option.

If only Charlotte tanked to the 7th seed, they could've taken the Raptors in round 1. Raptors are the worst 2nd seed since the 14-15 Rockets.

I would've done it and was actually looking forward to that series, I like both teams.

As far as the team goes, I do think they can retain some of those players but would you want to? Lee is looking to get paid, Big Al is, Batum will definitely be getting close to a max deal..I think they will first go after Horford, Howard & Gasol.

Yeap. He certainly has the ability. Its more mental and motivation with him than anything. Heat is a pretty loaded team. If dragic is his former self, they can go far.

Charlotte is like one of those Lowry/Dragic ertsa Rocket. Plenty of useful B and C level players, but no A-level stars. Their players (and coaches, too-- Clifford's group know what they are doing) would make a good supporting cast for an elite star or two. However, right now their ceiling is a hard-fought early-round playoff exit.

This team has been just kind of stuck. They tried tanking, but never were good or lucky enough to get a true franchise player out of even high picks. And when they don't tank, the best they can do is right about where they are now-- no real A-level guy really wants to go to that market even with MJ owning the team.

After all those seasons of misery, being a respectable mid-tier team is not a bad place to be for Charlotte at this point. The trick of course is to do it without sacrificing the future and being stuck in mediocrity in perpetuity, but this season looked like a step forward to a casual fan like me.
