The Fire look to get within one point of Eastern Conference leader Columbus with a win and our Dynamo need a win to stay ahead of what is becoming a crowded Western Conference. I was trying to buy the 4-pack McDonald's had for $54, and TicketMaster said "could not complete your transaction at this time." Does anyone know if I can get this same deal at the ticket booth? I tried yesterday and today and it was a no-go.
My friend had a similar issue with buying Texans tickets so he called into Ticketmaster and had no issues so maybe its the same with Dynamo Tix.
I am just wondering if I can take the family and still get the same deal at the door... does anyone know if they have the same deal at the door? that was too intense, we gave them 2 great looks at the goal and they capitalized easily. it was cool that Stuart iced the game w/ his PK and then imitated a bobblehead.
Second straight home game that Stuart Holden sealed the win with a penalty kick. The chip shot the Blanco had was unbearable to watch as it floated toward the post, thankfully it didn't go in. That was quite the game to watch, but our defense needs some serious work. This is the second home game in a row that we've allowed a team to come within striking distance after having lead by two or more goals, not to mention the ugly game in Frisco earlier this week. The atmosphere looked pretty great tonight, I wish I could have made it out.

I think I figured the "$54 Four-Pack Deal" out. When I showed up to the game and read the programs they give out, it had the same offer, but it said "Not valid for Galaxy or Fire games" or something along those lines. Apparently, someone left the deal up on the site, and had the Fire emblem next to the ticket package, which made me think I could get it. No biggie. I still attended. I am glad I got to see Blanco play well and do his antics. He certainly still has skills and attracts the crowd. It is always entertaining to watch one of my all-time favorite América players. I don't care if he's hated: the dude can play but has to work on his whiny crybaby style. In regards to the game, I did not believe, even with fuzzy and distant replay screens, that the call for the PK call was legit. I think it was a make up call for most of the Blanco fouls. I wonder if BLANCO, HOLDEN, CHING, and CLARK will be flying to Mexico City on the same plane?
they missed the call on holden which was worse but the foul on ashe was definitely deserved you can't repeatedly knock folks down in the box it was no flop and ashe had position defense was better than what most will give credit for the second goal was a poor play on blanco that allowed him to find the open man, and the on the first just a damn good shot
I missed most of the second half but when I saw the game tied up, all I can think of were the two missed shots I remember Kamarra missing in the EXACT same angle both times. Still, a great game, although I hope this defensive collapses in the second half are no longer an issue at hope.
