The Heat don't have enough money to sign both Whiteside and Wade without Wade taking a big pay cut. So how are they going to free up enough money to sign both of those guys + have an additional $25M for Durant?
They will wait until February, when they can ditch Bosh for medical reasons. Miami has to keep Bosh out of the game for one year in order to do that, and one year is in February. Then his salary comes off the books.
