All we need Howard to be is a "key role player", so I'm OK with it. This is Harden's show. Howard has shown up in the playoffs. I just want him to stay healthy so we have that option.

And it's great having 2 additional playmakers to ease Harden's load. Thornton and Lawson will do that. Capella's improvement is also a huge blessing.

Especially now that Khloe's not around to do that for him now.

    1. You don’t need a graph to know Dwight’s declining and declining rapidly
    2. Players with his skillsets should be declining at this age, see also Josh Smith
    3. After reading about the methodologies behind 538’s CARMELO, I feel it’s not very applicable to the NBA. It runs similarly as Nate Silver’s PECOTA for MLB which is a lot more accurate because of larger sample size, better data in general (basketball box score stats are much less useful than baseball ones in judging players), and smoother growth/decline in baseball compared to basketball.

Still arguably the best center in the NBA.

War doesn't measure defense well which is Dwight's biggest strength

That tends to happen when you get old. The main thing is we get enough out of him, so Capela doesn't get a starting spot handed to him, then is ready to take over the reigns.

We cannot catch a break. First we get Tracy who breaks down, now this guy. Rockets franchise is cursed..

Dwight missing all these games after resting in the summer is very worrisome. If Capela can hold his own, Morey will look to trade Howard esp. If he won't take a discount for his next contract.

Dwight is fine. People love chittin on him for reasons outside of basketball, but as long as he's healthy come playoff time we'll be good
