Good point was just made on the radio. Is it really safe to assume that Harden is going to grt better just because he is 25 (26 in less than three months). There is a good chance we saw his peak this playoffs.

Yup looks that way when your teammate gives up on the play. I wonder what the rockets do when they get a long reb. Can you take a guess? Your scouting report is a bit off so I'm not sure if you'll get that right either

So his peak is a top 3-4 player in the NBA right now? I think most people will take that

Give him some help so he doesn't have to run 99% of the offense by himself and I think he clearly gets better, or is at least more consistent

    Oh? Really??

Terrence played a little over 400 minutes in these playoffs. Sixth most on the team behind Harden, Dwight, Ariza, Terry, Brewer. More minutes than Josh Smith. Way more minutes than Clint Capela. More minutes than Pablo Prigioni. He should have been no higher than 8th in minutes played and possibly as low as 10th in minutes played.

    Because he sux.

Look - he did not make eye contact, you can't throw the ball HOPING your man turns his head.

It was a **** play - and he did it twice.

Doesn't mean he caused the loss, but let's not sugar coat **** plays.

    No excuses....that is for losers.

This is dumb because we haven't seen what Harden can do when he isn't the focal point of a teams defensive plan and he isn't asked to be 99% of the offense. He will imrove even more especially with his consistency once he gets the proper help.

Fact of the matter is Dwight played both ends hard and Harden did not. Dwight made some dumb plays but his fire was there and he hit his FTs. Too many times did the other players give up on a play and hope for dwight to bail them out only to not cover his back and get a rebound.

If Harden's playoff peak is 28 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, and a steal per game on about 45/39/92 splits, I think he's in good shape. I'll take that 1000 times out of 1000.

Just imagine what Harden could do if he had an actual offensive system to work with.

These two will have at least one more season together. I think it continues to get better. I think the pair were better this yr then last. with the experience from this playoffs I think it gets better. Harden choked In this game and it was disappointing. however he has definitely improved in his overall playoffs performance compared to previous playoff runs. klay is a good defender, so it Matt barnes yet he got his for the most part, previously he would get shut down by good defense. Hes also improving as an overall player as he was mvp runner up. This loss was more on harden then d12. but I definitely see hArden getting better and he's only 25. Get to work on your handles, defense and shot making This summer. Nothing wrong with what d12 said, and harden isn't the type to get angry over it, he knows.
lets bring everyone back and with dmo healthy next season I'm excited. I'm really hoping we don't lose brewer, Smith and maybe even Terry.

Watch the replay. Howard and Terry look at one another. As Howard throws the ball, Terry looks away at that exact same moment. As such, Terry is a step behind and misses the pass. Simple unfortunate coincidence.

Not making excuses for him. I'm just not going to fault a player for making the correct basketball play.

I watched the interview. He was asked about bringing the group back and mentioned how guys fought. He didn't take shots at anybody.

I think if Dwight's referring to anyone, it's TJones. We know TJones can do better. Hugely absent.

D12 and Josh Smith also have a lot of work to do if they want to win it all. D12 needs to learn to stop doing dumb fouls. Josh Smith better decision making. Obviously fts.
We all know Clint will be working very hard this summer. The improvement of Clint capela and dmo getting better our 2nd unit bigs is pretty good.

Hopefully we have seen is peak turnovers too.

If this is the best Harden the Rockets get, then they can win with him. Just desparately need that other playmaker. Too bad they didn't trade Terrence Jones at the deadline for that playmaker.

If Dwight was throwing subliminals at harden, it makes me thing Dwight is a crap teammate.

The squad needed 100% of James all season long to get where we ended up. And if Dwight throwing subliminals at James after a devastating game (when he should be bigging him up), then **** him.
