Dwight is done being a star. He was done the minute he left Orlando, but he is not mature enough to acknowledge this. In his immature mind, he still thinks and wants to be a star in this league. Simple as that. In his mind, when he becomes anything other than a star, he will lose all the attention he gets (good and bad).

Last night's game, you can already tell he had no energy...no emotion. Usually, you see players show a more hustle, but this guy did not bring it. The loss is not entirely on him, but he did not bring it. The one position, when he tried post up and dribbled it off his leg...there was no hustle to try to recover the ball. He just let it go out of bounce.

Dwight was done as an elite player 5 years ago. That ship has already sailed.

I thought he played with hustle.
He had 20+ rebounds and a bunch of putbacks. A lot of his shots rimmed out.

Oh nevermind... I thought you were talking about game 5 vs the Warriors till I saw the post date.

Dwight's rebounds are very overrated. Most of them are uncontested ones, and he frequently sacrifices contesting shots for the sake of grabbing rebounds.

Has Dwight even been an elite player the last 3 years?
