Motivational speakers are notorious for lying. The commercial implies that when Pinocchio has to single someone out for having potential he can't and thus his nose grows.

^^^ if you can back it up, then you can say whatever you want, otherwise you're just screwing your team. You're getting the opposition riled up and basically saying, "alright, now y'all handle that for me." Gotta work smarter, not harder. From what I read Dwight was asked about Black and Lin when he responded with the Pinocchio reference. I hope he was Lin bashing in particular.
