I'm so mad! He needs to take his soft ass on the court and play and bring that ring back to H Town!!!
I'm still waiting for something.... But the whole "Dwight is Soft" myth that is perpetuated by the media and fake tough guys like KG may be enough to get Dwight out there. Then again, you have a guy named Dan who is all about the brand. We need the big fella. Cautiously optimistic.
That kind of thinking costs you the last series against the Clippers. For all the percentages that the media throws out, about winning the first game, going up to 2-0, being down 3-1 or 3-2, with home court or not, you just have to forget that stuff and take it one game at a time.
Exactly. Who thought the Rockets could beat the Clippers 3 times in a row? Treat each game like it's the only game in the series and anything can happen.
although it may screw a little with the team's mentality...i think they should have him active, but start Clint. See how that goes. Maybe we can get off to a good start and have a great game. We could spare Dwight the risk for a game, or at least a half. I think Capela is zoned in, so let him loose, don't change his mind set back to just a bench player, by starting Dwight. That being said...he looks ok running in warm ups. I think he'll definitely play tonight, at some point. FIFY
Of course treat every game one at a time. All I am saying is you don't sit out Unless there is risk of further damage. Yea I know we came back from a 3-1. We are only one of two teams to have done that TWICE. It's hard. I would rather not be in that position.

It's not so much about further damage as it is whether or not it would appreciably improve before game 3 if he sat out game 2. I think the answer is "yes" but if he's to a point where he's running without (or at least minimal) pain and can jump and cut, then he should play.
My opinions are based on no significant improvement between game two and three . Is a sprain something that heals rapidly ?
