"If Howard is willing to work in the pick and roll..." We wondered that too when we signed him. What's the final verdict on that?

Probably because its less likely to get overreaction which you often see in the Game action forum.

Wow, what a letdown for Boston fans. They've been waiting forever for a max guy, and to end up with washed up Dwight would be harsh.

    Yeah, tell me about it.

"If Howard is willing to work in the pick and roll with Steve Nash..."
"If Howard is willing to work in the pick and roll with James Harden..."
"If Howard is willing to work in the pick and roll with Isaiah Thomas..."
"If Howard is willing to work in the pick and roll with Damian Lillard..."

I have no problem with Dwight, I hope he signs with a contender and takes his smile to the title, so long as it is not with the Warriors or Spurs. Sign with Cleveland cheap and bring it home again.

Howard wasted his time with trainers who were convenient for him, rather than who was best/better.

He also seemed too busy during the summer to devote the whole off season to an in depth rehab.

There's room there to improve, even now. He just has to be more open to change..and hes already made big changes, so theres hope..

My suggestion to the Celtics would be "DON'T DO IT."

He's going to be expensive, he's not going to put them over the top, and he's only going to screw up what Brad Stevens has built there.

They need to stick to their original game-plan. Go hard after Durant, and if he says no, then continue building with young, undervalue pieces and let Brad Stevens turn them into a strong, cohesive unit.

The loss of lateral quickness to me was the biggest thing. Bigs in the NBA today have to be quick and be able to defend away from the rim. He lost that quickness.

Dwight's biggest limitation was himself. He never tried hard enough to become a complete player.

I do agree he could make us look stupid, but it will be because he finally learned to stick to what he is good at.

Dwight, despite any conflicts over what his role should be was still an overwhelming positive on this team.

You guys really need to stop demonizing him.

He was great the first two seasons and he seems like a great person off the court BUT he is partially responsible for the PR hit Rockets got last year. I didn't expect him to go and trash the team like that after our season ended.
