You say that like he rarely is clutch or had a lucky game......that's when threads are "knee jerk"....this is just beating a dead horse, for now anyway, but the guy is legit hall of famer and should be welcomed on any team.
Whoever is gonna sign Wade to a max contract is gonna regret it. All these years he has gotten by with his speed and athleticism with his jumpshot being shaky, but I will give him credit for being clutch in the final mins. of a game. My point being, with all his injuries, surgeries and age-28, he'll maybe give you 3 good years going into that contract but after that his performance will start to dive off unless his jumper gets better.
Wade will probably leave Miami after this year but doubt he'd come to Houston. It'll be nice though...

Martin needs great players around him for the team to be good... I guess the philosophy is put tough, defensive minded players around him but it is better that 1 player can take care of business on both sides of the court, especially if he consumes a lot of the salary cap. Any team Wade is on is going to be good.
What Wade really wants is some help. His best bet at winning for the few years he has left is to bring in one or two more players to take some pressure off of him. He knows he has it made there in Miami, but he needs a sign of goodwill first for him to stay. I assume Miami is targeting a dominate PF and the list is probably something like 1. Bosh 2. Amare 3. Boozer 4. David Lee At least one of those guys has to be willing to play alongside Wade and get max or near max dollars as well. Beasley might move to the 3 and they could probably go get a decent veteran PG for reasonable. That is a contending team right there but Miami has to find a way to get one of those guys first to show Wade they are commited to him. My guess is Amare could be the most likely.
