So, watching this years Finals got me thinking about this...so I decided to search CF to see if topic has ever been discussed. Subsequent bump...

Curious if anybody that was originally skeptical about this notion has changed their opinion. I, without a doubt, think HGH is prevalent in the NBA. I also think the NBA knows it is going on, just as MLB did.....they just don't want the marketing/PR black-eye that MLB got.

I know this accusation is baseless, but they way his body (AND HEAD) bulked up has Barry Bonds/ARod written all over it from my perspective. I also suspect Dwight, LBJ, and many of the other stars in the league have, or actively, use.

    What say you?

You could be correct. My counter argument is:

Then why don't we see the same type of cranial and facial growth in the NFL players? NFL players are on much more aggressive weight training programs than the NBA players.

I guess all I am really saying is I wouldn't be suprised if SI breaks another league shattering story about HGH use in the NBA.

.....and I find it a funny coincidence that Anthony Boesch's clinic was just up the road from them.

Are you blind? Most NFL players with the exception of QB, WR's and kickers have little to no necks and huge facial structures.

Some players who prolly have not used HGH:
    Yao, DRose, Kobe, Dirk

    Players who most likely do:
Miami Heat team minus Battier and Allen, Dwight Howard

The injuries are a sign as well. Doesn't it make you more injury prone?

    1. Calm down there scooter, no reason to be a dick.

    2. If D-Wade was in the NFL, he would play one of those positions you named...so you're point really makes no sense.

I imagine Yao was pumped with HGH since he was 3 years old.

No question about it. Wade has taken HGH heavily since returning from injury and playing with team USA. That is when most athletes start bending the rules, after a long injury where they struggle to regain past fitness orbhave low confidence in their bodies (Clemens.. Armstrong... Etc). Only question is why NBA doesn't care about it to extent other league's do
