Why does it say "Turkish" in the link? So confusing. Doesn't help that you write Putin "Poetin." Anyway, sounds like a pretty big lie. When you say you heard it yourself, your audience infers that you understood and are communicating Putin's meaning when he says Great Russia. When you hear it second-hand, though, there's a lot more space for misunderstanding. Putin might have been talking about what a terrible idea Great Russia is, for all we know. It is, in effect, a total fabrication of Russian geopolitical thinking.

Oh sorry that is how putin is writen in Dutch. I actually never noticed the difference.

I also think it is a big lie. Especially since it is now being reported that his story missrepresented what was said.

I just find it funny that the Dutch are so unimportant that we have to fake meetings with russians...

Zijlstra is actually Scheduled to go to russia soon...
