Not that I'm basing much on them, but NBADraft.net has a mock draft that is forcasting that the Rockets will select Drew Gooden out of Kansas in the 1st round. Curiously, I just wanted to ask what ya'll thought of him? The few times I've seen Kansas, he seems like a good prospect. Great athlete, good size, and he plays hard. Like Stanford, Kansas is a system program, so I haven't had a chance to see what kind of offensive game or skills Gooden possesses, but there comparing him to Manning. Is this accurate? ------------------ "ON-BEE-TAH-BULL!!", Hakeem Abdul Olajuwon, alumnus, University of Houston
I have liked what Ive seen of Drew Gooden. He is an inside-outside player that handles the ball well and rebounds well. His game is actually strikingly similar to Shareef Abdur Rahim imho. He moves well laterally and is athletic. I think he will be a tall 3 man in the NBA and has the skills to play that position. His individual talents dont shine as well as they should in the Kansas system, but Gooden is a definite blue chip NBA prospect. ------------------ Check out the Best Source for Draft Info Draftsource.net
