From the Jordan fanboy rule book:
*if Jordan’s team lost it was the team’s fault. It had nothing to do with Jordan. The team lost and it’s a team game and you cannot blame Jordan in anyway.
    * if Jordan’s team won it was all because of Jordan. It had nothing to do with the team. The team won but it was only Jordan’s doing and you cannot credit his team in anyway.
    * if Jordan’s team lost the competition must have been too hard. Jordan can not be expected to defeat hard competition.
    * if Jordan’s team won the competition doesn’t matter. Jordan simply won and no competition is hard enough for him.
    * in the 95 eastern conference semifinals the Bulls lost because Jordan was out of shape. This also was in no way his own fault. The Magic were just lucky that Jordan decided to be out of shape, but again you cannot blame him in anyway for that.
    * the NBA was absolute garbage any year before 1991, in 94, 95, and any year after 98. I mean just the worst trash you could imagine. The NBA in 91-93, and 96-98 was beyond great and was the toughest time you will ever see.

For the average NBA fan who consumes ESPN and other media

Michael Jordan not losing in the finals = Michael Jordan not losing ever in the playoffs

If asked , who led their team to the Finals first, Dream or Jordan, they would say Jordan

Jordan playing half the season and losing in the playoffs = rusty

Kahwi Leonard playing essentially half the season for Toronto and winning = load management

Sounds like anything you hear with LeBronies or Kobe stans. Just the way it is. No one outside of Houston cares about the Rockets championships. The Mavericks lone run is more valuable to everyone outside of our own cities because they beat LeBron and Wade. If the Mavs beat the Bulls with MVP Rose, no one would really care. If we beat MJ and PIp, we would be up there, but no one cares. "Ewing by himself." Or "Shaq was too young."
