Think of it like reffing in the NBA, you can influence outcomes, but they can't go all the way into a fix without it becoming so obvious they lose the majority of the fan base.
Eh, I'm not sure taking Draymond's description of a private conversation is a good idea. But anyway, I look forward to his next suspension. Meanwhile, the fact that a poster said that, if a person on the street did what Draymond did, they would never get a $2M fine... is just remarkable for its density. If you did what Draymond did in the workplace, in front of the whole company, yeah, you would be losing more than 8% of your salary, LOL.
Yeah….no, I call bullshit on that. He’s tired of maybe of looking like a villain since he believes he’s the victim and that’s why he may have threatened to retire, but this whole sphiel is just sad. Way to go league office, saved Warriors owners some money, and embarrassed the commissioner in the process.
It does make the league look weak. Green threatens them to leave, and they beg him to come back. Who has control in that scenario? Sounds like the beaten wife scenario.
Draymond smacked Anthony Davis hard tonight. Better hope the NBA doesn't take another look at the play. Looked like he snapped.
Ouch. Same old, same old. Anyone who's known anything about anger management knows it's not a matter of weeks. The guy just has deeper wiring issues. You have to believe one of two things, when Draymond gets in the heat of the moment: (1) he loses all eye-hand coordination and just unluckily hits faces and groins, etc, or (2) he snaps and gets violent. Pretty obvious which it is, and a few therapy sessions would never address #2 in a meaningful way. And for once, I don't think Anthony Davis flopped -- looks like he legit got a good smack in the face. Kind of a win win for Rockets fans if Draymond gets suspended again.
