it does matter to them in that they see it as further proof that the deep state is unfairly going after him. the more indictments, the more it proves to them that he is actually innocent. i know trumpers who actually believe this. i think if trump dies in the next few years he becomes a martyr to his cult. the longer he is around running his mouth, the more many of his supporters will eventually tire of him. he needs to live to 110 and keep up the s*** show in order for more people to wise up.
and it doesn't need to be that long.. compare his rallies they get less and less people. at one rally people started leaving early. all you hear is excuses. it's everyones fault except for him. people want to move one from his loss and keeps on bringing it up. remember he said how big a loser he is if he lost to Biden. his supporters have began realizing this truth.
People aren’t into Trump for Trump as much as they are into the Trump act for the identity and community aspect of the show. Think of a scenario where Disney creates god awful Star Wars feature films but the event of it being Star Wars creates community events where nerds come together cosplay and whatever even though the end show is some crappy Anakin prequel with Jar Jar Binks. People are going to keep going to get that rush they get being there with thousands of likeminded people all dressing up in their trucker cosplay, listening to Kid Rock, and venting about liberals. I’m convinced all Trump has to do is show up at the end and say some funny bizarre things and he will continue to get crowds. People still attend Jimmy Buffett concerts mind you. But that doesn’t mean that it’s a newsworthy moment that needs to be as relevant like the Live Aid concert that brought back Roger Waters and David Gilmore together again to play one of the greatest 20 minutes of music ever played live. My greatest fear is growth in the sideshow carnival that is a Trump rally and the fear that someone will take over Trumps role in a way that grows the movement. If Trump just keeps doing what he’s doing now we’ll be fine and it’ll be the equivalent of a Jimmy Buffett concert. Buffett will keep milking his one hit wonder until he’s dead and so will Trump but it’s important that the brand doesn’t find new life under a more effective entertainer. Imagine if someone with David Gilmore’s talent had the Margaritaville branding.
Still talking about trump while Jim Crow joe is in office admit it y’all miss having a respected world leader running this nation don’t you
This is the genius of Trump as a marketer and brander. He understands that it's less about policy or even ideology but more about identity and the goal of brand is to make that brand part of identity.
Its nit picky but I don't necessarily think it's fair to the creative Marketing profession to say that Trump is this master at the profession because what he's in touch with is different. Maybe at one point in his life when he was younger in the 80's he had some skill but his act starting in 2016 IMO all started from his need to be an celebrity entertainer. He's like that MCU show Wandavision putting on a show in an alternate reality with the people in his show not really realizing that it's not real, but also not caring either.... until it becomes real and next thing you know he's asking you to hang the Vice President of the US and the Speaker of the House. He looks at everything through the single minded prism of a show. He gets obsessed with a subjective concept of "ratings" for his every day performance as President, and his rallies are the roadshow act. Trump's weakness is that he hasn't realized yet though that he's still a one hit wonder, and he doesn't seem to keen on coming up with another hit unless he understands it and is okay with it. But I know people who are skilled professions in Marketing. They must be highly offended by the notion that whatever Trump is doing is some sort of master marketing strategy. It's like comparing what Radiohead does musically at all levels to Jimmy Buffet's touring concert. (and I want to apologize to Jimmy Buffet for the analogy of course, but the comparison I see as stark as how he stumbled on a one-hit wonder, and stumbled on the Margaritaville brand by accident.... which is actually an even better brand than MAGA for sure)
Yet Jimmy Buffet has far more long term sustained success and likely brings in more revenue than Thom York has. Marketing isn't always about creativity and if you can find a winning formula for sustained success that is good. Consider how long Progressive has stuck with Flo or the Geico Gecco. We often see brands bring back older marketing campaigns recognizing how successful those were how much brand ID was associated with them.
why are you silent on Trump, who lied about disclosing his personal tax returns, having Mexico to pay for the border wall replace and repeal ObamaCare infrastructure
trumps genius as a marketer/salesman/carnival-barker is that he keeps the message simple (K.I.S.S.). he has simple catch-phrases that he repeats over-and-over. he identified his target audience (pissed off white people, mostly older) and gave/gives them what they want to hear. thats really it. i dont think he has long-term strategy. he is a dog living in the moment and chasing his own tail. he loves attention and he basically tells whomever he is speaking to at any given moment what he thinks they want to hear. its why he (rightly) gets accused of talking out of both sides of his mouth. he has also said over and over again how he likes to have people fighting with each other. he loves conflict and chaos. even within his own team. he thinks its a positive thing. its a horrible trait for any kind of leader, especially president.
detered illegals from trying to cross over funded hbcu's denied housing to non-citizens lowest black unemployment on record yea i'll take 4 more years of that
You specifically you are sick of lying politicians. Trump was/is a lying politician. Are you sick of him or was your quote a lie?
