Yeah, that is not a real advantage at the PG position.

There is no way Morey trades lowry because of dragic being a ufa. I think dragic walks to a great offer and a clear cut starter. Lowry may be traded, but it will be in a package, not to give dragic the starters job.

:p You could argue that Canada is one part of the NBA or close to the border....

Slovenia produces good players but Serbia of the former Yugoslavia produced better NBA players so far

yeah, but all of that is irrelevent...good players can come from anywhere.

Before Dirk, Germany had zero, before Pau, Spain had zero...yadda yadda yadda.

Before Dream - Nigeria had zero.

Dragic is half Serbian, hence the Serbian surname.

I really like our players but you know the roster change from time to time.... Morey is saying the things that everyone is used to hear
I won't bet on any player staying atm.

No one should be listening to anything he says anymore...Morey never says anything......

He does give you hints if you can read him though......like he will fail to mention Kevin Martin when he is talking about injured players during the season - leading people to realize the org had already written him off.

But for the most part Morey never says anything worthwhile.

I don't see Dragon being more than the third option on a good playoff team so I would say that securing the first two options is paramount.
Morey is on the clock, he should really feel some pressure.

Maybe, Dragon is probabaly never going to be a Superstar, he does have all Star potential though.

And at some point you need to start to build chemistry with your team, and keep a core together.

For me, Parsons and Dragic would be two of those pieces.

That is the most frustrating thing....
You have to watch teams fighting for the trophy with superior talent.....
and we are here hoping that borderline talents of ours do break out

We are not fighting for a title any time soon.....

We don't have a transcendent star, nor any real way of getting one......

At some point we need to get in the top of the draft to get one.

Now you are talking.... we have to wait this one out
The assets we have are mediocrely coveted by other teams

At one point we will be worse than the 9th or 10th spot, maybe luck will be on our side

this is the problem with clutchfans yall all seem to think if a player isn't a All-NBA player that they don't deserve to be in the League and there is no use for them on the Rockets....

No Goran or Kyle is not going to lift us to a title contender but no one or two player does that (ask the Thunder) it is a TEAM game, when you get superstars with no role players then you are left with this years Lakers, a playoff team but not a real contender!

He started for 28 games, that's two months worth of basketball which is not that small of a sample size. Plus he has played outstanding as a reserve off of the bench since he got here.

I would just like to say thank you to Phoenix for their irrational love for Aaron Brooks and allowing the Rockets to steal Dragic.

we always had great pgs, it's just that they never had the chance to get in NBA. Only ten players or so from Slovenia made it there, two of them pgs, Udrih GD, ok Vujačič too so... and we all know NBA wasn't always so keen on signing/drafting eu players, right?
