Do they track the number or percentages of when a player is double teamed? I need some data for arguments against dummies that don’t actually watch harden play

Why even waste your time discussing something that the other party doesn't even watch?

Do you think you might be beating up a strawman?

It's not that people are discounting that Harden gets doubled a lot. He does. It's that he MAKES IT EASY for defenses to double him and take him out of a game.

Dame gets those high double teams thrown at him too. It's only easy for teams to do that if they are confident that the resulting 4-on-3 is going to be easy to defend. So is that Dame's fault that the rest of his team is unreliable? 2018 Paul kept defenses honest.

Dame is just flat out not as gifted as Harden but when he does get doubled he tries to run and move his feet to get open. Harden right now with his current play style doesn't even have it in him to even execute the play Lillard executed for the series winner against us years ago where he sprinted through screens to get a clean look.

Harden makes it easy by walking up the court, walking into doubles and hovering around the top of the three point line when he doesn't have the ball which makes it really easy for defenses to shade him and deny him the ball.

So if you will win the argument, will the Rockets be allowed to replay their series with the Lakers?

Or do you want Harden to get couple more pity MVP votes?

When you say this people on here act like you're hating on Harden's existence. Everyone on earth knows the double is coming. Harden walks into double teams and passes out of it (those passes when he is doubled is another gripe) and they will say THAT'S THE RIGHT PLAY WHAT DO YOU WANT HIM TO DO!!

when your next best ball handling option’s only threat is to dive to the rim and you can keep one to two guys home, you can double freely. Harden running every play to avoid a double will wear him out. It’s not like Dame is someone who gives you deep playoff runs.

Someone with a synergy account might have that info.

Show me a superstar that attacks half court double teams and I will show you a player that turns the ball over 7 out of 10 times. As if teams are sending Muggsy Bogues and Tiny Archibald.....no they were
sending Paul George and Kawhi Leonard in a regular season game. And they are not sending them
with their hands tied behind their backs.

Tell those that ask, that they don’t keep stats on double teams at half court on Kawhi, LeBron, Giannis, PG13.....because teams don’t double them at half court. RESPECT !!

I never said every play. Reserve it for end of game situations.

Reserve what? He's gassed because the rest of the guys are shooting duds and we are playing small ball with a 7.5 man rotation. We lost two close games because we ran out of gas in the 4th. You wanna pin that on Harden too?

Lets be real @fchowd0311 - Harden will never make you happy even if he did everything and took us to the promised land. You might as well not call yourself a real Rockets fan if he bothers you that much. Not sure what you're rooting for, because when the Harden era is over, we will be trash for a while.
