Or, how about, "my unclear writing style led to a lot more conversation than this thread should have generated". Always use your blinker. Just because you don't think it's necessary, doesn't mean others don't.

It could also be named "Don't start a thread if you don't want people to comment on it"

 

I saw the thread title and the page count, and thought, something funny is probably going on in this thread.

Got through like a quarter of page 2. Don't get me wrong guys.... perfect response... and I definitely chuckled... but I think it's me, not you... I just knew I couldn't take the next 4 pages even if there were some gems in there... guess I've just gotten old!

I bet the vast majority of the posters in this thread use their blinkers when they pass up other cars at stop lights and change lanes in front of them. I also bet the vast majority of posters in this thread would not have started a thread because someone had the audacity to honk at them for not using their blinker. I bet all except for one person in this thread don't care how other people clean their butts.

 

We live our lives a quarter mile at a time.

 

For a few years I've had a rule to honk at people at green lights after two seconds if they are just sitting there when the road in front of them is clear. I've watched people pull up to a light next to me, and raise their right hand and look at their phone, like it's an automatic reflex. I know you're doing it. I'm going to honk.

What's funny is the reaction you get. Scared almost every time, sometimes they floor it, sometimes raise their hand like 'oh sorry'. Sometimes it brings out the rage and they flip you off. No one likes to be scared while driving. Pay attention to the ****ing light, you're driving a massive murder machine.

 

I do a light tap honk, beep beep (road runner). Usually does the job....

if they get mad and pull up next to me, I'll do a light tap BANG BANG infrared to the head.

Murrrrrrrrrrrrrricaaaa.

Just bump the stereo all the way up and you could barely hear the honks.

 

Back in 2018 people still honked. Now they just shoot at each other.
