    thats not *totally* true

contributing certainly helps. but if you dont make good quality posts, your chances of being noticed as someone who has the qualities the Crew desires in new full members, the money wont take away the rookie tag.

there are contributing members here who have been busted back to rookie for a series of bad posts/threads.

If someone paypals 15 dollars- shouldn't they atleast earn some privileges-
    search, edit posts, etc.

i mean, if i didn't get "contributing member" status- fine.
but atleast give me some benefits.

it's not like it costs clutch any money to give the benefits. does it?

everything that happens on this board costs money.

every page refresh, every post, and every search costs in bandwidth.

There is really no shortcut to the benefits you seek...you pay for those benefits with good posts and not acting the fool on the board.

That gets you free of the rookie title, and then (after contributing) as a contributing member, you would have the ability to search, edit posts, start threads and have access to the bbs in high traffic times (like after big games and trades)

full member abilities arent bought, they are earned.

I don't know if my paypal works, I've sent one out to Clutch a while ago and not sure if it got there.. does Clutch take cash? I think it's just easier if I send him cash through the mail or a check.. or something.

money order would be what you want i think.

you dont want to send cash thru the mail, easy to see it in the envelope and steal it.

ind0fo0.. if you're currently a "member" and you contributed a month ago, you should, in theory, be a Contributing Member I think. You should probably e-mail clutch and check on that status.

I've contributed a couple times, albeit not much, but am still a member. I really don't care though. I'm more of a lurker than poster anyways. :)
