    D-Mo is likely done.

It's funny people are expecting he will get post ups and touches with the second unit. Whoever has the ball on the perimeter will just see him posting up, then blatantly ignore him and swing it around for a 3.

Our second unit pretty much exclusively takes 3's. D-Mo isn't getting touches with the second unit.

Josh Smith puts the "Power" in Power Forward. We've been so accustomed to mediocre play at the position we forgot what that looks like. DMo is a nice option off the bench but he isn't a legit 4 for a title contending team.

Dmois the best post player we got. He isn't going anywhere. Not even for Dragic.

Dragic is very good but not a verified star IMO.

Depends on what you want. I would rather have Lowry.

Dmo has skills so might as well keep him longer

You are right as long as he doesn't start playing like a girl.

Whether Josh plays good or not doesn't make expendable IMO... The depth is something you need to compete. For example dwight got quick 2 fools in the first 2 min of the game..Without depth we are screwed

The guy has the skill set. He just does not have the right mindset.

You need toughness to play in the NBA playoffs. You need even more toughness to play the PF spot. Finesse game usually takes a crap in playoffs. You have to have toughness to go along with that finesse.

You have to accept contact. You have to make your shots through the contact. You have to get ready to throw bodies around to get the rebounds.

You cannot rely on DMo to give you all this right now. Maybe someday, but he is not there right now.

Its a war out there and I am sorry, but if you have to rely on this guy to man up your PF position in a playoff series, its going to be a quick exit for your team.

That being said, I think Rockets should keep giving him minutes and should allow his game to develop.

Keepin' it real and groovy since like forever.

I think they both have talent. But, they are completely different players. And I think it's good that they play differently. Against some teams you need power, but against others you may need the finesse that DMo provides. It's good to have a variety of players. It makes the overall team a stronger team.

Eh it's not that. The talent is just in different places. D-Mo is twice the post up player and positional defender Smith is. Smith is twice the shot blocker and rebounder Motiejunas is. They both suck at shooting. They are both good passers albeit in different ways. Smith is way more assertive though.

I wish D-Mo would do that with the second unit. He needs to demand that ball. But that's the non-American play style. I remember getting pissed at Yao for not demanding it either.

I thought DMo was very good on defense tonight, particularly while Dwight was licking his wounds in the 3rd and most of the 4th quarters after Gasol burned his ass. DMo did an excellent job anchoring the defense in the post and covering Gasol until Dwight was able to compose himself enough to re-enter the game.

I told you guys DMo has serious confidence issue, just like Jeremy Lin.

He has the skills. He just doesn't perform well when he is tentative. That's a weakness he has to overcome. If not, he won't be having a very successful NBA career.

This is only one game. So we'll see.

The dude has no confidence issues. "If you're afraid of the wolves don't go into the woods" etc etc.

Dmo isnt going to be traded. Dorsey is garbage. Dmo will end up backing Howard.

D-Mo needs to grow a pair and demand the ball. Problem is, the only reserve we have that plays in the flow of the game. Everyone else fancies themselves the alpha dog when mommy and daddy (Howard and Harden and now I guess Smith) goes to bed. Everyone is looking for their shot or slash instead of looking down low. D-Mo needs to realize that statistically, he is their best option especially against Prince. That's a really bad mismatch on Grizzles that we should have exploited again and again. When defense adapts, we switch back.

With injuries during the last stretch, D-Mo had established his role as top dog behind Harden with well, everyone injured. Terry sometimes jumps that role from him, but he's just old. Now, we got Smith and Brewer who are clearly scoring types. We got Shved who just doesn't know anything out there, but trying his damn best to seize his moments. KPapa and Canaan aren't getting any minutes because of the sheer proven fire power in front of them as well.

DMo did fine, he is a guy that relies on his teamates to set him up for the finish, he took 4 shots tonight made 2, rebounded well, and played good defense on Gasol when asked.

Not a great game by his standards, but a solid team oriented one.
