I love seeing the potential coming alive now! Hopefully, Dwight won't get butthurt that dmo is a just as viable(if not better) post option and will be getting some of his touches. Post up dmo, pnr with Dwight, you got yourself one hell of an offense.
Haven't seen anyone mention the 'Dream Effect' When you go back and watch those Milwaukee highlights and even some of the Memphis ones, you will notice a more aggressive approach by Dmo when he gets the ball in the post. He seems to be pounding more into his defender and establishing position. And then comes a spin move to give separation for a shot. Textbook Hakeem. Last year he would have tried to 'fake' and then spin around and throw up a crazy hook. His technique has definitely changed over last year. No accident IMO The young Padiwan has been learning.
D-Mo played like crap most of this season until recently, but I'll take heed to your advice and watch the video footage over and over again like Rudy-T did as an assistant coach in the 80s.
i remember last year him trying to fake anthony davis, who just stood there, then he spun back and got blocked, lol, so yeah i remember those dumb ass fakes, and that he's now physically establishing the post is certainly there.
The only time he was blocked by Unibrow in his career was this years Preseason game. So it's pretty obviuos you don't know what youre talking about.
Last 10 games +/- DMo +5 second best on team behind Cannan, Last 5 games +/- DMo +10.4 THE best on the team
It is a night and day difference between D-Mo's post moves of the past and his most recent ones. He isn't rushing the majority of his shots and it shows. The game is beginning to slow down for him when he has the ball around the basket - and it is a thing of beauty. I am so unbelievably glad we are realising just how talented D-Mo is - whilst he's wearing Rockets' Red, and not in another uniform because he was filler for a trade.
Can someone please post the video of the dream-shake D-mo has pulled last night? The ghost of Hakeem apeared before my eyes. And Hakeem is still here. I just wish Dwight would have learned one of those smooth moves
Is it just me or did DMo look incredibly relaxed for the ish he was pulling off last night? Confidence is a powerful thing

Don't discount McHale's tutelage too. With Howard out, McHale must have started teaching DMo how to establish position in the paint.
Yes. It looks now like he treats games as another day at the office. The game has slowed down significantly for D-Mo. He looks like he is now a very very good starting center in the NBA. And the three is beginning to fall for him.
Wasn't he chasing DHoward? And catching him. Dmo is now a wolf rider and conqueror of the Seven Forests.
People should not sell short how important it will be if D-Mo starts hitting 35% of his threes. The Rockets offense depends heavily on the PF to pull his defender out of the paint. He could open the post up for Howard and clear the driving lanes for Harden in the DDMO. He doesn't have to shoot a lot of them to have that effect.
