I literally watched his (almost 20 minutes worth) of 2015 highlights last night. As a general aid for searching highlights, type the players name and the year.
The rockets made it to the western conference finals missing two starters: pat and d mo and still played the Warriors close throughout the series. In addition they added an all star point guard in Ty Lawson. These glasses are as clear as day!
I still can't find it. Are you talking about those one game highlights that I already mentioned? I am looking for entire NBA season highlights in ONE video.
i think the youtube user Downtobuck made 2 compilation videos of his season highlights, each about 10 minutes long. he's a pretty cool uploader so i recommend you subscribe
Jones was playing very solid right before the 2nd injury. And him needing someone to set him up is false. Go back and look at the ways he was scoring Bobbythegreat.
Anyone noticed DMo deleted some of his recent tweets, like he called out Dekker to practice, but now its gone, did he hurt his feelings?
If you actually watch the Houston games and then glance at the highlights of DMo and still do not understand, none of us can help you. You have to have a basic understanding of basketball to comprehend this discussion.
IMHO DMo may make one all star game. One. But his play demands respect from everyone, fans included. Without both Jones and Howard the Rockets went 24-17. With them basically they went 27-14. Is DMo a Howard level talent? Almost certainly not. But could he start at either or both of the 4 and the 5 for 15 NBA teams? In all probability yes. We are not talking super star here. We are talking a rock solid starter in the NBA. Nothing more.
A year ago there were only a few Rockets fans that could see DMo's talent, by now I'd argue that most Rockets fans see it. A year from now there will probably only be a few people who follow the NBA at all that don't see it. I don't think he'll ever make an all star team due to the talent at PF, but it could certainly happen one day. You just don't find many 7 footers with his kind of post scoring ability that can also shoot the 3 that well while being a plus defender.
I'm getting real suspicious of posters with 1 rep who joined in 2012/2013 and then come in all ignorant and expect everyone to take them seriously. Are you sure you aren't a Lin and just posting **** to get back at the team in some pathetic way? Nobody said he's an all star but if DMO is far from some scrub either, the dude is a legit 7 footer, young, with post up and spot up skills and isn't a defensive sieve like most scoring big men. You don't have to be an allstar to get paid if you're 7'0 and can do all that, you're already pretty much guaranteed a near max or max contract. The thread title even specifically calls him an X factor, meaning he's someone who clearly isn't star but can be the difference maker in a game.
D-Mo is not an all-star, but he does have his strengths and has come a long way into becoming a very good role player. He can score in the post off a hook from either hand. His has, in this day and age, a polished set of effective post moves. Towards the end of the season, he was knocking in 3's at a good clip. He can shoot FT's, which for a big on our team is like "OMG ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS?" He is tall, runs the court well, and a smart defender. He is also still very weak compared to some of the bigger players though and gets pushed around too easily (drop that ass D-Mo) and lacks aggressiveness when rebounding so he totally gets disrespected there. That said, at this point right now, ASSUMING he comes back from his back injury fine, he is markedly better than T-Jones and definitely would have given Green fits on the other end and prevent him from scoring on D.
