Like a boss. Great quote from D-Mo. Read and learn, Royce. “I prefer to play on a team like (the Vipers) and get an opportunity to get a lot of minutes and freedom on the court than sit on the bench. I think it was a smart move by Rockets, let me to get back to the level I was before the season started. I’m thankful for all the people who were helping me and supporting me.”
what were his stats in the D-League i hope he didnt try and pull a Rudy Fernandez and force his way back up here
I don't understand this call up unless they really plan to give him minutes?? Insurance against in game injury? I guess... But in reality outside very limited situation where a coach might really need a big, in most cases in game they'll go with a small ball lineup or players with more time on the team. Meaning Smith or Jones or Morris, etc. for that specific game. After which they can call him up for the next game as necessary. I mean I'm happy he's been called up and everything but it only makes sense if they're going to play him. And Jones can't even get barely any playing time...
Love it. Gotta wonder if Morris had an impact on his mindset heading into RGV. I remember reading that he encouraged them with tales of his experiences.
Thanks. The link also quotes Lin saying that he's sitting out practice because he got fatigued from working on explosives. I really don't like it that our PG is making bombs instead of working in his game.
I'm sure Morey wants to get a look at D-Mo in some NBA action BEFORE he starts trying to make a trade.
It's not about the minutes. It's about #Health #Progress and #Transparency. In the verbal plan we did not discuss going to RGV which could affect my #health and limit my #exposure. #DrFINK agrees with me. #MoreProgress
What are you talking about? Gasol is a player most of the league believes to be on the down side of his career with his most productive work being while paired with a future hall of famer and candidate for one of the best players ever debates. His trade value thanks to his contract won't be worth anything until the last year at which point you would have payed him obscene amount of money already. Sure the Lakers would love to get rid of Gasol and get new talent but Gasol won't do the team when we aren't built to contend and will just hurt cap flexibility. Not to mention this thread isn't about Gasol it is about Motiejunas, keep the fantasy trade talk in the Random Trade thread. Motiejunas has the talent and potential skills to make him a very good player and as a Rockets fan that is more exciting then dreaming about someone not on the roster.
