Fakers fans should realize they ain't dealing with a dumbass like the Magic GM. Our GM would have traded KMart and Scola for Gasol but he ain't trading our young and upcoming core for a couple years of declining Gasol.

Toney Douglas + Daequan Cook + Cole Aldrich for Gasol is more likely than the haul recommended by the Lakers board.

Even then, I would only take that deal in a 3-way trade or to turn around and flip Gasol to somebody else. Pau just doesn't fit on this team... too old, and we have too many promising PFs who need minutes.

I watched the whole tape of the first RGV game including the halftime interview. I just could not get the picture of Morey chuckling and saying "I win! I win!" out of my mind.

Exactly right. I was a big fan of getting Gasol a year ago. Right now his acquisition would be pointless.

He'll probably take Aldrich's minutes, which is not a lot.

I really hope they don't play him at center. I'd prefer him, Jones and PPatt to split time at PF or for Jones to move to center, then to play D-Mo at center.

Yep... I still think Gasol is a better player than he's showing with the Fakers, but he just doesn't make sense for the Rockets at all. He'd be a great pickup for a championship contending team which needs a big man.

Look at hardens stats while westbrook was on the field and while he wasn't on the field. Huge difference, harden played much better

Very excited to see D-Mo called up! I hope he can get at least a few minutes a game. His strength/defense is suspect but his offense alone makes him deserving of PT.

I don't think they'll play him unless they absolutely have to. Of course, injuries do happen. He's not really capable of playing NBA defense yet, but his offense would be pretty great off the bench.

I don't like this at all, I would've gave him more time to develop his game. Watch him be on the bench a lot, like Terrence Jones. He won't get much playing time unless if he surprises.
