I'm surprised that D-Mo and/or Jones haven't been getting more burn time, given how our PFs have been playing.

I'm glad his has an eagerness to play. If he had a mindset like the one your suggesting, then the Rockets would have a problem.

Put the guy in! Pat and Mo aren't getting it done. It's D-Mo's turn!

If DMo or Jones somehow ends up with another team, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if they voice their dissatisfaction over McHale....like Bulinger and Lowry did.

Everyone LOVED playing for Adelman, but so far, IICR I haven't heard any ex-Rockets said anything positive about playing for McHale.

You mean when Mchale is fired ? no. DMO will be long gone by then! This coach is just very frustrating!

I thought he was considered to be a top 5 pick the season before?

If he doesn't see that he is better than other players at his position (Pat Pat, Morris) he won't have the courage to demand or even talk about something like that when you are a rookie in the NBA. And we all know that Moti doesn't have that Demarcus Cousins attitude. Add that some rumuors that says Moti is killing it in the practice, that makes this theory more reliable.

He will be playing after the trade deadline if not starting he will see time with the 2nd unit then he can earn more PT. I think morey and mchale are really trying to see what they got with 2pat and Morris and they don't want to give up on them yet but it clearly shows they are a weakness of this team

    Twitter is next!

Isn't this about the time of year that Morris started to get really annoyed last year?

Can he defend? Can be bang inside without falling down?

Unless he can, he better get with the program. Bulk up, get stronger, and be ready. His time will come.

Beverley plays a different position, and can defend. Plus he can run the team, something that TD has trouble doing.

I wouldn't mind seeing D-Mo and/or Terrence Jones get some time. I know McHale said Jones was having problems picking up the defensive schemes on the radio last week and didn't expect him to see much play this year. On the flip side it's not fair to say that Lin deserves patience because he is young and inconsistent, but Patterson and Morris do not.

All of the talk about D-Mo not playing because of McHale (and some going as far as firing him) is a little premature. There could be any number of reasons he is not playing that are out of McHale's hands. I would advise everyone to wait until after the trade deadline before you start going off half-cocked.

I am sure Morey sees what is going with team and changes that need to made. I can't see Morey not making any trades this deadline. Once again we will all be waiting for the trading deadline day to get here.

I just saw D-Mo play yesterday for the Vipers and watching him in person his offensive game was superb compared to the other D-League posts. He even came over to help on defense and got a couple blocks in. The kid can play and hopefully he gets his shot soon cuz 2Pat and Mook definitely aren't the solution at the 4. Oh and the Vipers are on a 6 game winning streak! They are exciting to watch.

It's not hard to understand DMos frustration. He works his but off and clearly has the best post game on the team. The two players currently playing the 4 are just horrible at worst and extremely inconsistent at best. There are many reasons that he should have at least been given a chance and he can not even get a chance. He has to be wondering at this point if there is any scenario that would give him an opportunity to play meaningful minutes.

What is the scenario that will get either DMo or TJone a shot in the rotation? Pat & Mook have not been worth a damn.

This organization is slowly becoming a joke.

This coming from a hardcore, life-long Houston sports fan

This is becoming increasingly difficult to withstand, Im embarassed and sickened watching them day in and day out now.

if we would PLAY our rookies in real games like UTAH does, they will progress faster then playing in dleague. In dleague they dont get accostomed to rocket player tendencies, they dont play in front of thousands of people, they dont run the same plays or build a relationship with their regular teammates. Alec burke and others on utah roster are progressing nicely because they arent wasting time on a Dleague roster. For us to have the youngest team in the league and this season being a lost cause, WHY IN THE HELL ARENT WE PLAYING OUR ROOKIES

Motiejunas is a NBA rookie, not a rookie professional basketball player. It's not surprising he is becoming frustrated with his hands being tied especially as he watches guys like Morris/Patterson eat up the minutes when he probably knows he is better.

Hang tight until Feb. d-mo, some minutes will loosen up.
