These are just stats — the facts. Nothing fake. It’s a dig at the people who think building a wall is racist. Both Trump and Beto held rallies in what is perhaps the whitest city in America, yet we will continue to hear the battle-cry of racism from the never Trumpers. If you want to see something truly racist and abhorrent, look at @CometsWin’s thread which @justtxyank refuses to lock: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...her-uneducated-angry-white-trumpanzee.278774/
67% of that white population in El Paso is hispanic. Granted, hispanic is not a race, but it gets treated as one.
[Premium Post] The video below is Trump's overflow -- i.e. the people who weren't part of the lucky 10,000 who made it inside the arena. 70,000 RSVPs, and over 35,000 on the ground for Trump. In El Paso. On the other hand, show me a picture from Beto's baby rally that has more than 1,000 people. And this was on Beto's home turf of Ciudad Juarez! He has to rely on law enforcement quotes (probably his buddy) to pump up his crowd -- obviously a way to deceive gullible people. Bye bye, Beto. Your moment passed when you lost to Ted Cruuuuuuz. GOOD DAY
so you make a racist (and inaccurate) assertion that "white" cities are safer than less white cities in order to get a dig in at people who think building a wall is racist? thats weird! again, your chart grouped hispanics with "whites" and then did not include the part that separated them out and showed that el paso is over 80% hispanic/latino. pretty dishonest of you to claim that el paso is one of the "whitest" cities in america when the vast majority of its citizens are hispanic. do you think hispanic = white? you and whomever created that chart obviously have an agenda here...its just weird and even worse, not accurate.
I find it both fascinating and disturbing that trump demonstrably lies multiple times a day, his lies about the numbers of supporters at O'Rourke's rally in opposition to his own in El Paso being a typical example, and his supporters lap it up. Their obsession with supporting trump no matter what he does and how many lies he tells says as much about them as it says about trump, none of it good.
According to the El Paso fire department there were around 6500 people inside, not 10,000. The President claimed that the El Paso FD gave him permission to have 10,000 inside. The El Paso FD claimed that wasn't true.
Trump knows his campaign rallies will have to be more insane to get CNN and MSNBC coverage so he's going to go to more and more extremes. I don't know why the media falls for it though. He's lying and saying stupid false BS on purpose. He knows that MAGA Habberman and co. will live tweet everything he says that is outlandish. Its how he keeps his rallies top of mind, and brings out the MAGA "base" to see the sideshow clown show as not a celebration of policies or patriotism... but a celebration of loud, proud, dont give a F whiteness. These rallies should NOT be covered the way they are. The media is doing the American people a great disservice.
When will people realize that politicians use this tactic. Hitler was propably the most famous in using it. Blame economic anxiety on those with less political clout because it's easier than having a nuanced discussion of actual economic policy. It's a more easy discussion to blame Mexicans than it is to be honest and state that most of our politicians don't legislate for their constituents but rather their donors. That's a difficult discussion to have. It's why individuals with more nuance like Warren don't have to resort to the "blame Mexicans" tactic. For individuals who don't posses the knowledge and vocabulary to discuss these issues, they resort to these tactics a la Trump.
According to Texas Monthly there were about 6000 overflow outside, putting Trump's total around 12,500...not the 35,000 he's claiming.
