    Silver and Black?

    The Michigan Wolverines?

    Orange Crush?

    Big Red?

    Purple People Eaters?

That's just off the top of my head...

The Cottonmouths? If the Browns are the only name, according to you, worse than the Texans, where in the hell would the Cottonmouths rank?

Who can't separate their background from their team name?

Good call. All iconic color schemes as well.

Little known fact: none of the Kansas City Chiefs are even Native American!

I wasn't serious when I said the armadillos or cottonmouths. Those were some the first things that came to mind when I thought of Houston.

I just can't take the "Texans" brand serious even though they might be good. Its like the Chargers or Browns.

I have posted this in another thread, but this is the logo of the high school about a mile or so from my house. They've been around since 1996.

    Go Mavericks!??!!?

I love the logo, and colors. The only thing I would like to see is a uniform do-over. They are just too generic looking.

Yeah, when you look back at their records they weren't near as great as the excitement they brought the city. I loved the Oilers!!! I loved the run and shoot though, and get bored with prevent offense and short safe plays. Win or not, it's just not fun to watch. Those days of Warren Moon, Ernest Givens, Haywood Jeffries, Curtis Duncan, and Drew Hill were just fun! Bum Phillips was a character, and people loved that cowboy coach. Even our running game was like a bull on steroids with Earl Campbell just bulldozing his way through defenders. I was heartbroken when they left our city.

Screw cottonmouths, it should have been the Copperheads.

Copperheads with Copper, Blue, and Grey/Black.

    (I'm only half serious)

I didn't really care about the brand. All I cared about was finally getting a team back in Houston. I have always been a Houston first sports fan. I wish the name had incorporated Houston and the Space theme, like the Rockets, Astros, and Comets to be honest, but I love the colors.

Always thought it was a PR move and generic as ****. Every year I'm a little more weary of the stale, TV-Y7 franchise inhabiting our stadium. And right after this super bowl where almost everyone declared the city a wonderful place to have a superbowl the NFL backed up and demanded upgrades and tried to sway state legislation by threatening two cities that probably agree with them more than not. Honestly, I haven't felt this disconnected as a pro football fan since about 1998. Right now, I'd like to tell those whiny billionaires to put their money where their mouth is if they want something so bad....and if not, deuce on this hand, bird on the other.

I thought the Texans brand was uninspiring, frankly.
