We have decision to make with regards to FatMo and Fato versus Eddie and Yao. If our goal is just to reach the playoffs and develop Eddie and Yao as we go then FatMo and Fato start and stay awhile.

However, if our goals is to win titles, we must increase the playing time of Yao and Eddie DAY 1. We cannot afford a wait and see attitude, Yao and Eddie are the number 1 and 7 picks, which means you don't pine them.

So the question of the day is how do you move two fat bodies and contracts ($14 mil) and get value. Because our future now rests with 2 tall shot blockers, who can score, and play D.

I completely and utterly agree. Mo isn't movable but he can ride the bench and package Cato and Norris for RASHARD LEWIS. (wishful thinkin). Nah, we have some dead weight on our team and we need to figure out what we are gonna do with it. Rudy and CD know how important things are right now but I think we are a better team IN THE LONG RUN if we bring a long Yao and Griff.

Man, you guys are harsh on Mo Taylor. Honestly, other than being a sub-par rebounder, what has he done to deserve this? Albeit, he took a little long to adjust to the Rockets' system during the first half of the 2000-01 season. But during the second half, Mo averaged over 16 ppg and around 7 rpg. Those are good numbers. And the only reason he gained so much weight was because he could not run or work out for several months. He was primed for a big year when he tore his Achilles. The Rockets consider him an integral part of their future. He and Griffin will man the PF position for years to come and will be a great tandem. If you want to belabor that he doesn't rebound as much as he should, fine. If you want to make fun of his pot suspension, fine. But give this guy a break. He hasn't done anything close to deserving of this treatment from across the board. I mean, being lumped in with Cato?!?! Cato showed that he had a bad work ethic and didn't remotely produce on the court. That is not the case, nor has it ever been the case, with Mo. Bottom line: Lay off the guy a little. Just my opinion, though.
