You are a good person saleem and a great fan of the Rockets. Hasn’t been much to post pertaining to the Rockets except “if” or “when” House would be brought back....and if he would be eligible for the playoffs. I posted about a month ago that his presence would improve the chances of the Rockets success exponentially. I stand by that. D House numbers as a starter were equal or better than half the leagues starting SF’s in my opinion. Only thing left is to get our popcorn ready......and hope nobody gets injured. If we win a title, a majority of this team we be retained.....luxury tax be d****d. If the Rockets were first or second seed in the West at the trading deadline, I believe the Rockets would have put all chips on the table then. Instead 3 out of 4 seasons above luxury tax plays a huge role when thinking of the Harden/CP3 window and the “Repeater-Tax.” The dreaded Repeater Tax ends many a dynasty early in the NBA.
Shumpert is here to help against GS on the defensive end. He will see action against that team. I bet he gets PT tonight.
Hey, I'm all for Shumpert being productive and contributing. Just saying, if he continues to be abysmal on the floor, House will likely overtake him in the rotation. I personally want everyone on our roster to be clicking so we're as deep a team as possible.
Shumpert knows how to defend everyone on that team - he's faced them and played heavy minutes against Curry and Klay - he's valuable.

Yes now the team feels complete. House gives us the wing we’ve been missing. Go ahead and start House. We need his size, athleticism and defense. We miss EG’s shooting with the second unit. Rivers and Manimal have struggled a little recently but I think they will be ok and have earned minutes imo. GG, and Shumpert can compete for minutes and NeNe can be used vs larger centers. NeNe has quietly played well this year in limited minutes. CP/Rivers Harden/Gordon/GG House/Gordon/Shumpert PJ/House/Manimal/Clark Clint/Manimal/NeNe To think of how poor our roster looked a couple of months ago to now having a roster that is 12 deep is astonishing. If Shump can get out of this funk even if it’s just on the defensive end we should be able to make a real run at the title now. Danuel freaking House. I was an Ariza fan. I knew that he was better all around offensively but I’m shocked at how well he continues to defend.
