The Clippers' new CEO, Dick Parsons, was the chair of Citigroup and the chair/CEO of Time Warner. he is giving credibility to the team in the aftermath of the Sterling mess. In light of the fact that everyone, including assistant coaches and strength and conditioning coaches, are being reviewed and possibly replaced, we should also look at the Rockets' CEO, Tad Brown. What has Brown done? Does he measure up to Parsons in terms of credibility-- which matters in recruiting terrific free agents? Can he tell free agents about how he's going to get them on local TV? The Rockets need a heavy-weight CEO like Dick Parsons.
I don't like Donald Sterling. What pissed me off about him the most is how he treats women. I wasn't thrilled with a private call being recorded. With the new recording leak which is obviously a plant by him the nba should can him. Leave the first recording out just for everyone privacy but the new recording is enough.
Tad Brown is responsible for the nacho choices in TC. Morey already admitted (in twitter) that its a huge issue and something he will sit down with Tad and Less at Florida to address in the offseason.
dick parsons betrayed his jewish wife of 30yrs with 3 children…….for an african model 30yrs younger than him.. #credibility
I don't see how the parties being Jewish or African have anything to do with the story. Also, this may be extreeeemely ignorant, but is being CEO of an NBA team even a full time job? Just doesn't seem like there's much to do unless you need a stadium or something.
Good point! Does Tad Brown even have any athletically gifted children? If not, he's useless. Nachos, TV deal, 9th place finishes, 1st round exits... How many times do we allow Tad Brown to fail?
