U guys need to forget getting Rivers, Romo, etc. Not happening. The cap space Brock's contract will prevent that. It will be Savage, Brock, or a roookie next season. There also be a new O-coordinator....so that will help.

After the crap I've seen play QB for the Texans, I would be for bringing in Cutler for a couple of years and draft a QB to develop. I'm no Cutler fan, Sad really. Os has been really bad.

Or they trade for someone like Jimmy G. But most likely it'll be Savage/Brock plus a rookie "battling" like you said.

I think Rivers has been, at times, a great quarterback. However, he's 35 and just had a 20+ interception season. I know he still has talent, but I'm not interested unless the price is like a 5th or 6th.

Seems a bit strange. Why would he want to go to SF when it's a total train wreck?

If the stories are true it's because he wants to keep his primary residence in the Bay Area.

I guess I could see that, but it's not like he has to live where his team plays. A lot of people live one place and play another. The story just sounds suspect.

He's apparently super family oriented. I ultimately don't think it's true, but he's apparently a HUGE family guy and wants to be with them at all times or something.

    http://thebiglead.com/2016/11/03/ph...costumes-from-the-movie-elf-to-philip-rivers/

Philip Rivers has eight kids, which is like twice as much as me. The more amazing thing is that he can keep track of all of their Halloween costumes, especially when they were such a thematic mess.
