Does Craig Ackerman Need to Tone it Down?

It's either that or Bill Worrell calling every shot made in a close game "cold-blooded".

 

"Splash" does make me cringe.

But the excitement levels he has at the correct times makes up for it for me.

 

I find his style is more suited for radio, same with Ashby.

 

When Ackerman leaves the Rockets. He will def become the new Jim Ross of WWE.

 

His style is terrible for the Radio. He gets so excited he doesn't even call the plays. If you are listening is the car you are trying to figure out what happened.

 

But is he on tommy heinously biased heinshon level?

 

Gene would tell us what went down....quickly.(with emotion) He wouldn't get all caught up in the play to the point that he didn't convey what happened..leaving us to divine by ESP/his loud noise/crowd noise what transpired.

 

Bill and Calvin = GOAT

Great commentary, funny, and they kept it real. Calvin used to rip our own players if they weren't getting it done. Also, Calvin brought a little "culture" to the broadcast

the one who really needs to tone it down is Matt Thomas...he sounds horrible
